Default Crisis armies?

With the recent release of the rapid insertion force i got to thinking about using farsight and increased number of bodyguards to make an extremely crisis heavy army. Now obviously this can be done in apocalypse even without farsight because there is no force organization but what about going crisis heavy (say around 10-13) in 1850 games?

Isn't the minimum for Apocalypse 3000?

If there is Force Organization then basically you want to have full squads of Crises.

HQ : Commander XV8, 2 Bodyguards..... 3.

Elites : 3 Teams of 3 XV8's.... 9.

Heavy : 3 teams of 3 XV88's ..... 9.

21 Crises, not including Troops, (Assume lowest possible, two squads of 6 FW's)

and I just did the math, wow that's only.... 1400 pointsish.

Or you could slim it down to 2 squads of 6 Gue'Vesa. I think it comes to about 72 points total.

Remembering of course that FW units are 1+.

So you'd have 1 x 6 man FW unit and a 6? man Gue'vesa unit as troops.

I almost bought that box for my birthday and heres why I didnt:

I believe Ive read somewhere that crisis armys are:

Very dependant of terrain. They are a very situational list.

I hope this is true because else Im gonna want that box and Ive spent a lot of my birthday cash already

Some 4+ invulnerable saves may be able to eliminate that need, though you will miss the blocking effects.

And yes, I suppose you'd need one of Fire warriors and one of Gue'Vesa. Roughly 100 points in total.

Jormungard, you could take that even further by taking a second HQ and bringing it up to 24.

If you take an FE list, you can still only get 23 because despite Farsight himself getting a 7-man bodyguard you can only take one unit of Broadsides. Shame =(

Atm I have 19 Crisis suits for my normal WH40k gaming. This is in a Farsight army of course.
For Apocalypse I will use em all of course and my 9 stealths.

There is no "minimum" pts in Apoclypse, just recomended points. And yes, its 3000 pts. If you miss some points, you can buy extra stratagems for 250 pts. Can I hear vortex grenade?
"The vortex doesnt care about your invunrable saves or special equipment you have."

So for me a crisis heavy army is with two rapid insertion boxes
I am getting a third one around x-mas I do belive.

Yours Truly
