Default Question...

Out of interest, what would you think of a Tau player who:

had 2 broadsides:
Knew the rules for the broadsides extremely well:
Only fired one railgun from each broadside a turn because he thought that that would make the game fairer and that 2 from each was too much.

Is that person incredibly kind and generous or incredibly insane?

Broadsides only get one railgun shot each anyway.

Or have i misunderstood your question?

Woa, red flag! What's this about?

Railguns on broadsides get a single, twinlinked shot with their railguns. It's not two railguns that fire independently, it's two railguns that fire together in order to increase the odds of hitting more accurately.

In other words, pay 110% attention to the profile of the suit and it's weapon saying "Heavy 1" not "Heavy 2" and he does not have "Two Railguns" he has a "twinlinked Railgun."

If someone was firing two shots from their XV88, then you were being cheated.

WHAT??????

I've always been told that broadsides have 2 railgun shots?????
However to be fair to him he did recently start saying that he was only going to fire one off each broadside each turn as he thought that made the game fairer

you have been played for a fool :-[. if anything seems too slanted, always ask to see their codex. if its too good to be true, it prob is. two railgun shots a turn is would make broadside suits the nastiest things on legs. everyone would have them.that sux that he played you like that. lol.

Someone's head is going to roll (insert furious smiley)

Can I get this quite straight. Tau heavy support broadsides only have one railgun each - correct?

Tau-killer:

XV88 Broadsides have ONE railgun shot that is Twin-linked. As you know, that means he may re-roll his ONE shot, if he fails to hit the first time.

Your friend isn't being kind, he's trying to save face becuase he's worried that you'll find out that he has been cheating you very badly for quite some time.
