Hokay, here it is, in all its glory

HQ
(1) Shas'o with FB, MP, MT 106p

ELITE
(3) Crisis suits with Fireknife 195p

TROOPS
(12) FW bonded 130p

(12) FW in Devilfish with DL 205p

(12) FW in Devilfish with DL 205p

HS
Hammerhead with RG,SMS 165p

Total of 1001p

overall i think you have a very solid list there, but maybe if you configured it a little differebntly to get the most out of your models:

commander, take shas'els in 1000pts, and keep them pretty stadard (fireknife) so as to save points, the extra skills of the 'o wont really show up in this level of points to be honest.

crisis suits - solid, very solid, just make them into 3 seperate units for target saturation and to keep them alive/possibly targeting diffeent things

Fire Warriors - A very nice core here. However i strongly advise adding the shas'ui upgrade to all of them here. Drop the bonding on the first squad to try and re-cuperate points for this.

In fact i wuold drop that static squad altogether and maek way for a full kroot squad. 60 attacks on the charge from a 140 pt unit in a 1000pts game? and that infiltrates and fieldcraft? well, well worth it.

And as for the HH. Take a railhead, with burst cannons (just to save points) and the multi-tracker and decoy laucher upgrades to keep it at its most survivable and effective.

Therefore we have:

Shas'el Fireknife - 85
1 Crisis, Fireknife - 65 x 3 = 195
20 Kroot - 140
12 Fire Warriors, Shas'ui, Devilfish with decoys - 215
12 Fire Warriors, Shas'ui, Devilfish with decoys - 215
Hammerhead, RG, BC, MT, DL - 165

total - 1015 pts

ok i went a bit over but im sure you can shave off a few points somewhere! tell me what you think!

Interesting. I quite approve of these changes.
The annoyance of the kroot keeps some attention away from the FoF, and at
the same time jump around the map wiith crisis suits to spread havoc. ^-^

do you have the kroot models or will you have to buy some? i did try to think about what models you already had in that list but i chucked the kroot in there anyway as they were jsut too good to leave out!

very good, apart from the minor over points, gets the Dizzy stamp of approval.

myself I'd drop one kroot and replace 2 with hounds to give you 6 points over instead of 15, looks much better, but if its a freindly list dont bother :P

thats pretty tight, without dropping crisis or a troop he's not going to get pathfinders in there, it would be possible to swap them for a FoF, butthe HH hits on 3's anyway, not an improvement worth a whole FoF IMO.

and dont forget pathifnders have to take devilfishes, jsut making them even more expensive, just impossible to justify at this limit. Even if the HH misses there is plenty of fire support from the 4 crisis suits on the table, including MP's to give AT support so i wouldnt worry too much about that!

Really i would be hoping to use that railhead and burst cannons in tandem to route squads (submunitions) after the first turn or two.(no more amorured targets)

I could see PF in a different army, but this one really doesnt need it :P.

I personally prefer Dual Railheads but 3 MP and a Rail will getthings done, depends on where you play, some groups have a dread in most armies and thats it, some have Dread, Pred and Rhino all in one.

having two railheads in a 1000pt force is too much for me as it goes over the 25% HVS limit on the powergamers test (proud to always be 3 or under!). Even against a dred, pred and rhino i am still confident that army list could hold its own!
