Hmm... I have what seems to be a solid Mech Tau armylist, but is it cheezy?

looks good but...but it's not really mecha... more of a hybrid list i'd say since lots of ur units aren't mobile
oh and what's the point of the two six-man fw squads?
also how 'bout including some crisis suits?

The small Kroot squads and unmounted FW units are strange. What's the plan there...run them along side one another to support fire? The single broadside is an interesting addition and adds a nasty little anchor. Seems though like another Fireknife style suit would work better - you've got the elites slot easy and the 75pts could account for two lightly armed crisis suits there.

You need some bigger Fw sqauds, like 12.

And definatley get more Crisis suits

10 man squad of Kroots arent good, make the 2 squads 1 big 20 man squad. Then you will have another slot and the squad won't die as fast

Plan with the non - mobile units is to form a firebase in some cover. The Kroot can help out or infiltrate and irritate the opponent.

I know I need bigger FW squads and some Crisis dudes.

I don't think you're too bad off, man. I'm not a hard-core Crisis advocate. They're pricey and are easily killed, plus because squad size is reletively small, when they start losing squad members it puts them at under 50% pretty fast (which is extra VP to the bad guys) and can put them making all alones tests you don't want to have to do - those aren't morale tests so are re-rollable with an Ethereal either.

I can see the 6 man FW teams deploying nearby the Kroot so that they can all shoot as a team, sort of. You might be better off consolidating the FWs into a single 12 man unit, but I see what you're trying to do as far as making several different points of fire. You just have to take into account losing models and the subsequent morale issues and VP problems with such low model numbers.

To make the two 6 man FW teams last longer combine the to teams to 12 justlike kroot 2 20

And Aunla crisis arent killed easy. Only if you let them which is bad tactics. Plus they can take ahit from anything but say a krak and a lascannon, basicly only heavy expensive weapons can kill them outright. so they are not easy to kill. But they are expensive

Not a bad list, but I would suggest that you drop the second Shas'el and the broadside and purchase another HH...maybe with an ion cannon? ???

a third HH might be good but the only problem is you would only have 1 Crisis suit. You need some anti marine units. If you do decide to get a second HH give it a ion cannon so it can deal with marines.

I would drop the Broadside, combine the two 6 man FW teams and give them a devilfish. Then you can have THREE 12 man FW squads with a devilfish! ;D

Since FW with fishes are mech and broadsides are not, the extra fish would be good

I take it you've not faced a Devestator squad or multiple Guard teams armed with Heavy Bolters. They can make mince meat out of Crisis suits. All the hopping around in the world won't save you unless you can get behind solid cover...
