Folks,
anyone know where to buy shield drones from (In uk if possible)
I can not find them listed on the GW site

Best place, if you want the official GW stuff, is to go to their online store, look at the Pathfinder Shas'ui, and then click the little wrench icon to look at the bits. In there, you can get the actual bits, and then attach them to some spare Drone bodies you've got lying around (or you can get some of those probably off of another model on the bits page).

Myself, I just converted some that I had around, taking Crisis shield gens, flattening the back, and then slicing the carbine mount in half parallel to the floor and gluing the two together. Drill a small hole in the now-bottom of the shield gen, and you've got a pretty good shield drone.

Good way to make a shield drone should make a tutorial. Great idea I will look like a shield drone.

Or, take a gun drone, don't stick the guns on it, and stick a sheild generator on the top. no paying large amounts of money for drones.

I simply take some gun drones don't put the carbines on and shaved off the tabs they sit on. I asked GW if this was alright and they said if your opponent is OK you can treat it as a conversion!

Hmm Shield Drones only come with select models, if I remember correctly:
- Pathfinder Shas'Ui
- XV15 Shas'ui
- (Old?) Ethereal
- Commander Shadowsun (Contains 2! Unfortunately for me it's not available here in Australia anymore =S)

But yeah, the only place to get 'official' ones are from the Pathfinder Shas'ui blister pack, or order the bits from GW. Or you could just make your own =)
