Default Forge World Report

Okay, I opened up my shiny new battlesuits from Forge World, so you can get any jealousy out of your systems now.* Each one comes with a complete set of plastic crisis sprues, but no drones.* The plastic is that wierd dark stuff Forge World uses when they include plastic components (it may be what the UK uses for everything.* Kind of curious about that...).* There is a big resin sprue with new forearms, shoulder pads, shoulder sockets, heads, and shins.* The weapons that plug into the forearms are not the plastic ones but a separate resin sprue.* The markerlight fits onto the normal backpack.* The SMS suit has the most parts, with a new back piece with only one jump jet (like the stealth suits).* The weapons should be easy to modularize, either with pins or with magnets.* They have the flyer base as normal, and one of the gigantic monster bases (3" diameter?).

I thought the quality was good.* Nothing is obviously warped or off-scale.* There is more flash than you find on normal GW stuff, but nothing out of hand.* Khanaris gives them an A-.* (He would give them an A, but they were very expensive and he won't really be able to use them without a pricey book.)

Let me know if you are considering picking some up and have questions!* I am attaching pictures of the resin sprues.

looks spiffy, any Idea if we'll be able to purchase conversion kits any time soon?

Forge World hasn't said anything on the subject. It would be nice, especially since you could technically mix and match pieces from all three sets plus the broadside and Farsight.

Look carefully.* They are different, although I posed their sprues the same way.* What fourth suit?* Khanaris is only aware of the three new ones.* It is possible there may be more.* The SMS on the single jump-jet does not appear mandatory.* You actually install it on top of a raised symbol.

Um... Okay.

I'll try this a different way. ;D

What did you buy from Forge world? a new suit with nifty abilities? an accesory kit? a spotted, rotating kitten?

Ah, I see. I bought one each of their new battlesuits. Each one is a total kit, not a conversion kit. The rules for them are slated to appear in the next Imperial Armor. Check their web page.

Aha! So basicly, a 4th type of suit then.

Thanks very much, I'll be sure to check that out.

They have no rules as of now, so no.* If you have been keeping tabs on Forge World's site, all three will have seperate rules in the Paros (Taros) campaign. That is why I was confused before. You could say that they represent a 4th, 5th and 6th type of battlesuit.
