I've always found that pine-sol and other similar products broke the bonds that glues had when I soaked them for a little bit (even 30 minutes to an hour) and it doesn't damage your models.

Just a thought if you happen to have some in the kitchen.

*Chokes on Cheese Cake* NNNNNNOOOOO!!!!
...*ahem*...anyways...I did glue on weapons to before I found magnets...

Yah, if you use Pine Sol, it should work (i'm not sure)...I know of a guy who glued onto something he shouldn't of on a model, so he made up a mixture of light ammonia (just a smidget) and some water...he let it soak and it wiggled free, although where the glue was it made a stick mess, but he just cleaned it up with a knife and sand-paper...

If you don't want do that, just go to a craft store and ask for a gule solvent...good luck!

P.S. It will ruin the paint, but that can be painted over!

Ugh, i dont wana have to repaint em... >< Well, if theres really no other way...
The thing is, a freind of mine he said, "Oh, just try pulling at them, they should snap right off."
no such luck. I had to dig the broken plastic bits out of the groove with a file and pick it away with a needle. I plan on replading all that with the megnets, but untill them, ugh... ><

Ahh, didn't know you had painted them. I figured you glued them then realised you didn't want to (without painting yet).

Pin-sol eats the paint--so don't do that

The problem is, most things that break strong glue bonds, will usually do something bad to your paint too. Most people don't break those bonds without stripping that I'm aware of. Good luck with that--and if you find a way, post it!

When you soaked your parts, did u dilute the pine-sol with water? If so, roughly what was the ratio of pine-sol to water?
