Default A "wow" moment in 40k

A gundrone killed the Master of the Ravenwing.

I was shocked.

That sounds good but shooting or in assult? Assult must be a lot harder. for a gundrone. Shooting I think is possible because i have wounded a Hive tyrant with kroot in shooting before. Did the gundrone do all of the wounds or just one of them please give more detail? also in general 40k borad there is a thread called what amazing things did any of your units do this almost belongs there.

Never underestimate the drones. With two drones, I managed to bring down all 4 landspeeders of my friend's marine force. I never forget that.

As for my fire warriors, they kiled the hive tyrant in close combat......enough said.

That is insane with the gundrones. What was your opponents reaction.
Gundrones most unexpected anti light vechilcle ever.

Not that hard to take him down in shooting. He has good toughness, but he only has regular power armor.

Pissed . :P

They went down in 3 turns. And somehow he couldn't kill them with plasma guns and heavy bolters, always missing it. to make in more insulting, the drones came from the pirahna. So basically his scoring units are kileld by something that doesn't cost me anything.

But as Khanaris said, a tau army can bring him down with more ease compared to other armies.

There is a misunderstanding here - I took down the Master of the Ravenwing, in Landspeeder. Thats the one with 14 armor, all around...except in the back. So that free gundrone from a Devilfish REALLY payed off and made up for all of its points

Opponent was beyond shocked. He didnt consider the Devilfish a threat.

Overall it was a very close fight. I won, but only because all of my tanks and my commander came in on turn 4 in such a way that I was able to clean up units that were not in a position to defend themselves against Two ion heads, a railhead, and a Fireknife commander.

Other victories for my side:
A Tau Shas'ui killed three space-marine Bikers. I'm adding a Khornate sword(extra khorne bit, decoration only) to his gear as a badge of honor.

My band of 11 kroot assaulted and locked the Deathwing terminator squad for most of the game.

The last man from a pathfinder squad, armed with only a rail rifle, got grit and stayed for the entire game all by himself, eventually sniping a biker-seargent who was threatening a devilfish.

In the end, I do not play tau for the guns, and obviously I do not play for the stats. I play Tau because when I do win, its by an insane number of off-the-wall circumstances that makes the game more than entertaining

10, actually. You need to be a little careful with the Land Speeder. I don't really like using it.
