1500 point list
Trying out mech tau, constructive criticism appreciated/encouraged.
HQ: Shas'el fireknife 85 Troops; 2X 12 firewarriors with pulse rifles 2X shas'ui upgrade 2X devilfish 2X decoy launchers 430 Elites; lone crisis with t-link fusion, flamer 54 3 fireknife crisis 195 6 stealth 180 Fast attack; 8 pathfinders with shas'ui upgrade devilfish with decoy launchers 191 Heavy support; HH with railgun, burst, multi, target, decoy, one seeker missile 180 HH with railgun, smart missiles, multi, target, decoy, one seeker missile 190 Total; 1505

seems pretty good but u might want to conceder putting an ion cannon on one of the HHs

I was thinking about that... but not only did I glue my hh's with railguns, but I thought that having only one railgun would be insufficient to take out heavy armor... especially if that railgun were destroyed or disabled.* Instead the fireknifes will do the same work. Might be a good idea if my enemy doesn't have many tanks, or a land raider for instance though.

I like it.
You've got everything you need. If you added anything, I'd hope for a fat squad of Kroot (they couple very well with Mech-Tau). Keep all your railguns because one is certainly not enough in 1500 points. Too many big tanks are found in 1500 and those hammers are your only source of mobile and reliable AT that can bust those big numbers.

I think that u should keep the two hh w/ railguns...mobile+big gun=good

looks adequate, obviously been following the mechtau bible
 .however myself I'd put the seekers on the pathfinders fish, makes the HH's less of a juic target and if it draws fire they arent targeting the HH. the TL on the BC HH is not really worth it IMO, and keep the 2 rails. and personally I'd drop a fish team and scavenge 15 pts (perhaps a stealth? it brings them down to 5 where its 3 casualties for below 50 and 50% check aswell) for a nice fat unit of kroot and another 'El for more untargetable goodness.
