Default Psyker question

I realize that the Tau have no presence in the warp but as far as game mechanics goes is this legal. Technically couldn't a Tau player facing a witch hunter's army take the psychic apocalypse ability? I know that it goes completley agaisnt all fluff but the only army that isn't aloud to take a psychic apocalypse are necrons. I think that it couold be an interesting thing ot try with an ethereal to give them sonething to do or an extra little tidbit on a crisis commander.

I completley understand how this goes against fluff but I'm merely speaking from a gameplay standpoint.

Thats a big misconception. Tau have a presence in the warp, but it's really really tiny. Game mechanic wise I don't see anything wrong with a Tau with a psychic powers, especially if it's to complement the opponent (witch hunters). I'm afraid I'm not too knowledgeable on those rules however.

I just thaink it'd be really kinds funny when you say "okay now my ethereal is going to use his psychic power..." The looks you'd get from non witch hunter players.

And it's not something you have to take but in the witch hunters codex it sasy soemthign alogn the lines of "as an opponent of the inquisition you may give your hq who doesn't have their own psychic powers this"

I'm confused. What power is this, and why would Tau be able to use it?

There is a section in the withc hunter's codex for "enemies of the inquisition" it has a power you can add to any hq choice as long as you're fighting witch hunter's, don't already have a psychic power, and aren't necrons.
