Default Plasma Rifle Crisis Suits

I have started work on a project about the amount of kills each Crisis Configuration will make at any range and BS.
I will stay away from the template weapons due to the amount of variables to do with modles hit and scatter.
I have finished all configurations using the plasma rifle and will try to add a new set of crisis configurations each day.
All configurations are on Shas'ui with the CIB configuration on Shas'vre.

The Burst Cannon and CIB suits are the best at killing all types of infantry with one being extremely cheap and the other expensive.

Tau equivalent, but then is that T3, 4+ Carapiece armour style? Yes.

Anyhow mathhammer is not that much fun because it is only an 'average' result and as far as I know through my studies of maths and statistics (due to doing physics) that you hardly ever get the 'average' result, it usually stands to oneside of the median.

There you go, describing probability's with more probability's. Nevermind eh? Its just a game at the end of the day, playing is for the fun of doing so. Not the complete annihilation of your opponent.

Anyhow the Helios layout is the most efficient layout in my opinion. I can't seem to fault it for killing power, genrally a guarantied two kills at least every turn, even though your maths differs from my experience. Combine that in a three man squad and you have 6 kills at least every turn and you've got J-S-J.

Having said that I haven't run those in a Tau list in the last 3 months or so in favour of my AT XV-8 squad (which I hope you will get round to doing the mathhammer on).

-T/L Fusion Blaster
-Flamer (understanding your not doing template weapons, but assuming three models are covered...)

and

-Fusion Blaster
-Targeting Array
-Target lock

I would like to know roughly what this constitutes in kills non-vehical wise. As far as I know it pops a vehicle every turn (more or less) if its within range. Found this team to be even more reliable than Railguns.

Anyhow nice for doing the maths, perhaps you should make a set of tables or even draw up a spreadsheet allowing you to choose your weapons and it will return probability values on kills. Hmm...Binomials...

TEQ (while not otherwise noted) stands for "Terminator Equivalent".

Toughness 4, Armor Save 2+

This is good stuff. I've never actually written down the crisis proabilities. Anyways keep up the good work, and maybe post statistics up for other units also?

Just wanted too mention that this only applies if your shooting once. But your shooting multiple times with (most likely) similairly equipped suits so with good bad and avereage roles it should even out to be roughly the median. That being said i like the fireknife the best because of the versatility, and the fact that it out puts high amounts of damage.
