I think it's important I think to have a great looking comander for any army. What are our best options with this ?

Do we get the Fordgeworld comander and mix and match the parts from our standard comander ?

What weapon loadouts looks best ?

If we do use the Forgeworld Comander as a base is he still a legal model for Tournaments ?

I'm thinking ATM using the Forgeworld Comander, poxying a new head, adding a cape, and equiping him with a Plasma Rifle and Fusion blaster on each arm slot with a Missle Pod on his sholder slot, HW TM & HW TA. Your thoughts ?

You can't hard wire the Targeting Array. Also with three weapons you are wasting points that can be spent on Shield Generators or targeting arrays.

If you want a good looking and effective Shas'el comander go with a helios (plasma, fusion) with targetting array and a hardwired multi-tracker. Or switch to a Fireknife shas'el and it looks just as good and is just as effective in their own areas of speciality.

The Forge World suits with the Markerlight and SMS are not really useable, as those options are not present in the codex. Although you can claim the Markerlight is a Targetting Array. There is no problem with using them in Tournaments, though, as they are just proxies for the regular model and GW makes them.

I would not give him three seperate weapons. He can only ever fire two, even with the multi-tracker. So as it is, he is getting a little expensive. If you need to shave points, I would pull off the Fusion blaster.
