Default Interesting house rule.

ran across an intresting house rule.

allowing broadsides to fire flechette round similar to the hammerhead.

Broadside battlesuit rail gun, flechette round, Str4, AP5, small blast circle.

Overpowered. Broadsides are wonderful as is, the template is one of the main reasons to take a railhead. Give the broadsides a template each, even if smaller, and suddenly, broadsides start to look very effective compared to a railhead.

Well if it replaces the Rail Gun, I don't see what's wrong with it. And I think the general consensus was 1of three Broadsides could use that, though I don't remember the points values. And IIRC, they aren't re-rollable.

I have already had to send this general topic over to House Rules once this month. It does need a lot of balancing for it to work with the current list, but the House Rules section is a more neutral forum for that, since it is populated with many different kinds of players (of many different armies).

Didn't we just have a 3 page discussion on this? Broadsides firing submunition?
