Default Plasma Rifles

Just outta curiosity, is it worth it to twin link PRs on 'suits? Haven't tried it myself, so was wondering if any others had any experience or thoughts on the matter. For instance, something like a TL PR with Mpod and HW multi-tracker. Or some other combo. Thanks for any reply.

only do it for shas'ui and 'vre, not for shas'el either.

If you are intending of using the combo you stated (twin-linked Plasma Rifle, Missile Pod and Hard-Wired Multitracker) then i would not use that on a Shas'Vre either, as that is a reasonably expensive combination which would be a waste on the Shas'Vre purely because of the points cost, perhaps it would be fine on the Shas'El instead, as there is only one.

But as we have been discussing in other posts, the drones can only shield one crisis at a time. (The first kill will be a drone, the second a crisis, the third another drone, etc.) I guess if you were taking them for firepower instead of protection...

I use the TL PR, MP and HW MT setup myself quite a bit. I wouldn't use it on a shas'o, but a shas'el may not be a bad investment. I usually use it in a crisis suit squad. For 5 points, upgrade a suit to a team leader (but not the extra 5 for shas'vre), then you can give him the hard-wired system he needs. He's not cheap, but he's definately more effective at killing marines, which is what he should specialize in.

I wouldn't use TL PR and a non-weapon (drones, shield, etc). Too expensive for just a TL PR....not versitile enough.
