It is a battlesuit, or basically hi-tech armour worn by the Tau. but on a smaller scale than the XV-8's and has been given stealth technology.

It is a Battlesuit. So are the other XV's (ie. XV-8, XV-15, XV-22).

They allow a normal human sized model (or less!) to hold lots of heavy weapons, and also increases your strength, speed, toughness and armour save.

There is only one robotic type of model that comes from the Tau, and those are Drones (Shield Drones, Gun Drones, Marker Drones, etc).

Kroot are anything that look like Kroot (ie. Kroot Carnivores, Krootox, Kroot Hounds, and anything Kroot Mercanaries).
