Default Several Important Questions

Just thought

i'd say proud owner of a tau codex - yummy yum yum...sorry just eating some

chocolate.

Now to my important questions

1. With the news 4th

edition rules do jetpacks now get to move 12 in the movement phase the 6 in the assault?

cause that's pretty insane
2. In a white dwarf, a tau player was using twin-

plasma rifles, missle pods and a multi-tracker....but how is that possible that's 4

hard points isn't it? or have a got these hard points mixed up?
3. Do you fire

a markerlight and a pulsecarbine (on pathfinders) seperatly or at the same time?
4.

Stealthsuits do have jetpacks don't they? i wasn't sure cause they don't

look to apparant on the model
5. I've heard many people talking about picking

up tau firewarriors, zooming away while firing. But how does this work with the

"fire points" rules (p26 Tau Codex. If you don't have one, why not?).
6. Kroot with 3 attacks on the charge, strength 4 seem pretty physco. Are they worth it

though? i prefer the idea of all tau, but kroot seem to have something going for them

with such combat prowess

its possible the multi-tracker was hard-wired

depends on what you think. Ideally, your kroot will never be used, as the more fire

warriors you have, in theory, the less enemies get too close..

5 What?
6 low initative, low toughness,

and no save. You will in most cases strike last and you have less staying power

than a guardsmen so you wont servive long enough to gain most of the benifets.

Certainly,

though, a bunch of kroot can be handy in a Cityfight or Junglefight, but these are the

only two places where they would be: and ideally, you wont be in them as Tau need LOS...
