I got the megaforce and have been assembling it, and realised I don't have a XV25 Sprue!!!
Now just to make sure that I'm not crazy, can someone with the megaforce substantiate that the XV25 sprue is indeed an included part and I'm not just hoping for something that I shouldn't be gettting? And if possible could someone describe its size? It is possible I lost it I suppose but that is highly unlikely. Thanks!

There should be an XV-25 sprue in there. If there isn't, I'd return it to the place you bought it right away, or contact GW.

Unfotunatley I don't think they'd accept it, I already assembled most of it >
. If I can't find it (I have had to hide it from sister since she can't know I got present early) I'll ask the shop owner for $20 store credit since that's the price of the XV25 box and spend it on xV15's, since I like those models more.

For some reason, IIRC, I think the megaforce WAS short that sprue for part of the early production run. You could always call the store manager and ask them.

If you still have the box ( there will be a number they need on it ) contact GW and they will send you what your missing. I bought 3 Pirahnas and two had deformed parts ( the little sensor node on the nose ), when I called they asked for a number on the boxs and lucky me they sent me two more Pirahna boxs ;D . You will most likely only get the missing XV's but if your lucky they will send a little extra for your trouble.

I haven't experienced it personally, but from what I have heard GW is very good about replacing defective or missing parts.

My brother got a chaos megaforce that was missing berserkers.
Call GW customer service (In the US it should be 1-800-394-GAME I think) explain what happened. They should send out the replacement sprues |

I bought a sentinel once, and it was missing the Catachan sprue, which isnt exactly neceserry to constructing it but i still wanted the bits, so they just gave me another sentinel!
If there's something missing then you will have to take it into store, I did, although it may be different in America, but with something that big I would think that you should have to. Good Luck! Cheers, spacmarine2000

I'd try GW first. The manufacturer is usually more apt to give away parts than the retailer.
Expect to jump through hoops with the store, namely needing a receipt and returning the entire thing (assembled models and all) so they can give you a new one rather than just taking your word and handing over a stealth suits box Technically, it;s your right to get satisfaction from the retailer without having to go to the manufacturer...but in this case, since the manufacturer deals direct and has a hotline, it's probably gping to save you time and frustration to ask them first. Worst case scenario is they tell you to go back to the store. |
