Default Plastic Stealth Team Bit

I just purchased a stealth team box and i was wondering, what is the antenna piece that is included with it? It's pictured on the box and comes with an extra base for it but I've never seen anything that says what exactly it is. Thanks for the help.

No one really knows I don't think, just use it as an objective marker.

If your a good modeller halff bury it in green stuff, to make a very fluffy objective marker, ship crashes this thingy fall off gets lost (could be like a futuristic stick-drive). Grab your plasma rifle, burst cannon, missile pod, rail gun and a couple million firewarriors. Get the stickdrive at any cost. For the Greater Good!

Battlewagon lists it as a 'stealth field generator' but I doubt that's accurate

I put it on the beck of my commander it's pretty cool ;D
If I had 2 of them I'll put it on his shoulder
Maybe on the Hammerhead or generally on the tanks it can be very cool to see

You could stick it on a PF Devilfish for their marker beacon.

I am actually thinking that it is the marker beacon or a positional relay of sorts.

At a guess i'd say that its for use when Deep Striking, to place instead of the initial model as just a show piece or something. Dont much see the playing advantage of it, but im sure theres a usefull reason, if not then for it to just look cool!

Cheers, spacmarine2000

It's a stealth suit generator.

Really? I don't quite see why it would be on the ground, as the Stealth Suits have their generators built within them. I honestly agree with the fact that it represents a positional relay for deep striking. I also glued it onto my Pathfinder Devilfish to represent the Marker Beacon. I honestly think that it was built as a sprue filler...
