Default The Maths on Crisis Configs...

Ok...some long car journeys, nothing to do, i have a notbook pen and calculator....so its time to see how good the different crisis combos are! ive only worked out porbabilites for four combos, and not against vehicles....but it does take awhile so ill hope you appreciate this took me a while!

3 Man Fireknife Team - (PR, MP, MT) - 195 pts

(ok, this combo i invented...seems as if it isnt that great!)

3 TL Plasma's + Flamers - 180pts

3 Burst Cannons, Plasma Rifles, Multitrakcers - 183

This combo turned out better at anit infantry, i was quite pleased..

so there you go...obviously i havent taken into account the anti-vehiclecapabilities of these combos, i usually rely on railguns for that and my opponents dont field many vehicles agaisnt me anyway! but obviously the missile pod wound come into its own! hope these stats do help people in some way,

well it seems the Fireknife once again outshines all, thanks for doing the math 42, its a b*tch do to all of it.

maybe not vs. 3+ save armies though....(although i havent taken into account that missile pods are effective vehicle poppers)

Are those numbers backwards? It seems to me they should get more kills up close (12") than at 24, due to rapid fire.

the MP are Effective vehicle (Rhino) poppers yes and the Fireknife is more effective than TL at everything but 24" it seems.

and the numbers do look a smidgin off.

yeh cheers for spotting that one hereticus, im pretty sure the number arent out though.....the ranges mixed up but ive got a bit of confidence in my maths!

there was nothing wrong with the range math apart from i got the ranges at the top backwards! but i fixed the PF

Fireknife still comes out on top. with more dead at everything but 12" and then its only 0.4 of a models difference. good evidence for Fireknifes superiority.
