How many points of Tau do you guys have? I know ork players, some atleast, have ammassed 15k of orks are more, thanks to second edition models, etc. I was just wondering if there is anybody who has anywhere near that amount?

I have 4k, or about that, by the way.

just a lil over 2k, but mostly play 1k to 1.5k, All tau. me and my bro are working on a kroot mercenary army, problably gonna be 1k.

I think I have about 4000 pt. I have the following:

15 Crisis Suits
5 Forge World Commander suits (2 XV-84 & 1 of each of the others)
5 Broadsides
3 Hammerheads (2 rail & 1 Ion)
I also have the Fusion Cannon and the Missile Pod Forge World turrets
2 Devilfish
44 Fire Warriors
10 Gun Drones
2 Shield Drones (more coming)
3 Sniper Drones
16 Pathfinders
6 Pathfinders with Rail Rifles
3 Pirahnas
2 Tetras

I've got just over 1700 fully painted and playable, though I own about 2500 counting stuff that's still in the box.

The Crisis Suits are why I got into Tau. I just wish that the Burst Cannon on the Crisis Suit had a longer range... I would have one on every suit.

As of now I have about 2K but I'm working on getting to 3k to 4k

I probably have between 1.5-2K, built and painted. But I've got quite a bit sitting in the closet. It takes me a long time to finish a squad, the only thing I really got done over the summer was a squad of Sniper Drones, but man their sweet ^-^. Now I'm slowly working may way through a full squad of Vespids. And FYI I got them in the Limited Tau Army Box (man I'm slow ).

So let me list off what I've got:

7 Stealth Suits (old type, including 'vre)
9 Pathfinders (including 'ui)
3 Rail Rifle Pathdinders
2 ethereals (Aun'shi, and the old one)
17 Kroot (including Shaper)

14 drones (2 are Shield Drones)

12 Vespids (their sort of, almost ready :-\)

3 Piranhas
1 Sniper Drone Team
4-5 Crisis Suits (Including GW Commander Suit)

hum... that should add up to be quite a bit, and I did plan on getting more for my Tau , and I don't think all of that will fit in one Army Transport :'(.

This is of course only the Tau I have. I've also got an old eldar army plus tons and tons of other minis (LOTR + WFB+ a tyranid army I'm building for my brother+ the 3rd edition and 4th edition 40K starter sets), and am planning to get that Eldar Army Box too, :'( I'll never be done.

My finished mech army is at 2250pts though I have enough models to do 2500 and a little more and I might have to add to my army when I get my Ultramarines up a bit more. Im thinking of transforming my mech cadre to one that uses as many auxilary units as I can to display the diversity of the Tau. I started mech when it was just becoming popular and now all I get is "Oh another mech army" it gets boring, time for a change.

I have about 5k of tau... I really don't need any more because at this point, I can fill about 4 slots of each of heavy support, fast attack, and heavy support with ease. I also have way too many fw's, 4 squads worth, plus 40 kroot. As I never actually use broadsides, I only have one, and he's broken and unpainted. :-X
