Default assembling broadside battlesuits

This may sound stupid, but whats the best method for assembling the railguns onto a XV-88 broadside battlesuit? I have just started collecting tau and tried to assemble my broadside battlesuit, but the railguns keep falling off even after I hold them in place after applying superglue to them for about 5 minutes. Could someone please give me some tips on getting the railguns on? Thank you.

it help to glue the railguns onto the back pack before legs and arms are put on in my experinece (i have 3). Then if you can find some sort of clamp, a makeshift one will do, to hold it in and leave it to superglue for 30 mins (better safe then sorry). Also i dont want to be pinickety but this is the wrong board for this quesiotn

Are the railguns metal ?

If not dont use super glue use the poly cement wichiwill melt the plastic and make a better bond.

If they are metal then use a hand drill to drill small holes on boath the main body and the gun then use a metal rod to pin the 2 peices together.

It's probably the glue you're using. I'd buy some official citadel glue, since it works pretty well for metal on metal or plastic on metal.

42, what did you use for a clamp? I am having trouble finding anything that will hold it in place without wrecking it. Thanks :-)

You could try pinning the railguns onto the backpack model as suggested.

I use hot glue. Not so good for metal but its really good for plastic. And even with metal models it can help hold the parts in place while the super glue dries.
