I have thought up an idea for a unit of 2 Broadsides. Both take the Targeting Array and the Shas'vre takes a HWTL and HWDC with 1 or 2 SD. I know it's an expensive unit but it's something that will almost definatly hit every turn and can absorb an aweful lot of enemy shooting. What do yous think?

i might do that if those 2 BS were my only anti-tank.
otherwise, they are pretty accurate already. what i like to put TA on are my fusion gunners in my steath team. that's where ya need extra marks- manship skills, right up in someone's face. ;D ;D ;D broadsides are usually far enough away to get a second shot.

its pretty solid, though i prefer just 2 broadsides with TAs and a team leader with a HW-TL.
reason being, this squad will never be brought below half strength. its good for VP conservation.

Normally I prefere a broadside with either a targeting array or a ASS with a hard-wired multi-tracker. A fun trick is to place a broadside 7" in a forest at the start of a game so that pesky Lascannon can't nab it. You the use the ASS the next turn and open fire!!!!

the ASS system as 1st turn protection sounds pretty good.
I generally want to only deploy 2 broadsides tho, so mine are generally deployed with TAs and the lead takes 2 shield drones with him. with with the TA and twinlink they still miss more often than i should like. |

Well, if you have horrible luck, yes. Otherwise, you should be good with A.S.S. and a TL/SD upgrades to the Team Leader.
Oh yeah, and don't waste the points on the Shas'Vre, what the heck does a Broadside need +1 WS for? |
