Default Unit evaluation/critique

I have a unit I am considering for my army and I was wondering if anyone has had experience or opinions on it. Anyways here goes.

Crisis Team x3

Shas'vre: AFP, TL Flamer, HWMT, HWTL
Shas'ui x2: TL Flamer, Burst Cannon

I kinda have an idea how I want to use this unit (As a speedbump/GEQ killer.) I just want to hear what people think of it.

Like the idea (infact, I'm planning on using a similar setup), however, you have two problems.

1st, you waste the second weapon on the two 'Uis, since you don't have a multi-tracker. Try not TW them.

2nd, that's a pretty expensive speed-bump. I would rather aim to use them as a first wave sweeper instead. Try putting them up against an isolated squad, and attack with them first. Then, after, get one or two other units to sweep up the remains. Use this squad first, as the templates degrade when there're less models in the target squad.

And, last of all, is try it out yourself, and tweak to your preferences. Don't get discouraged if someone else says that it's no good, as there are more then one way to play Tau. Besides, if you make the weapon systems modular, the setup won't cost you much in money, since if you end up not liking it, you can just change them afterwards.

Hope it helps ^_^

Actually there is a good reason behind that. I figure I will be in one of two positions anyways, either in template range or out. So the MT almost becomes useless Since I can;t use the flamer past 8" and if I am within 8 I always have the AFP to make up for the wounds I be missing on the BC.
