Default Fire Warrior effectiveness

Take you standard 3 12-man squads of plain fire Warriors for 360 Pts. and this is how their effectiveness works.

Against: Kills per turn (not rapid)

Necrons, world eaters, Death company, Nurgle terminators 2

Regular Terminators 3

Marines Standard 4

Marine Scouts/sisters of battle 6

Aspect Warriors, Guard with carapace armor 8

Genestealers and orks 12

Gaunts, Guardians, normal guardsmen 15

6 crisis suits with tl Plasma(assume rapid fire due to greater mobility)

Worldeaters/ necrons/ all terminators 3-4

Everything else 7

This is based on simple math.

Remember people that if you base your understanding of 40K on maths you should find that very little should die, but if they don't shoot back as much (because of your superior tactics of getting your army into a good position) you will loose less and over 6 turns you will kill an awful lot. Thus tactics come into play and the better you are at been able to shoot them, and not get shot back, the more you will kill, the less you will loose. Also remember that the dice has 6 sides, maths may say how often it will land on one side in a perfect test, but the universe isn't perfect.

36 non-rapid firing FW against:
T3 Sv 2+, 2/3 die
T4 Sv 2+, 2 die
T5 Sv 2+, 1/2 die
T6 Sv 2+, 1 dies
T7 Sv 2+, 0/1 die/s

T3 Sv 3+, 5 die
T4 Sv 3+, 4 die
T5 Sv 3+, 3 die
T6 Sv 3+, 2 die
T7 Sv 3+, 1 dies

T3 Sv 4+, 7/8 die
T4 Sv 4+, 6 die
T5 Sv 4+, 4/5 die
T6 Sv 4+, 3 die
T7 Sv 4+, 1/2 die/s

T3 Sv 5+/6+/--, 15 die
T4 Sv 5+/6+/--, 12 die
T5 Sv 5+/6+/--, 9 die
T6 Sv 5+/6+/--, 6 die
T7 Sv 5+/6+/--, 3 die

If they have any version of the new version of Feel No Pain (WBB etc) then halve the number of dead people. If they're rapid firing then double the amount dead. If they're T1 or 2 then use the T3 ones, if they're T8 then use the T7 one.
