Default Positional relay???

Do all battlesuit Shas'vres have access to special issue wargear or just XV8s. I was wondering because teh positional relay would be great in escalation, but absolutley useless if it doesn't come on, because it's a crisis suit. On Broadsides however...

Well I haven't read the rules in a while but I think that the special issue goes for all shas'vres. And the Poasitional Relay on a broadside would be great for missions like that. I never seem to get the anti-tank in to be effective on those levels.

I'm afraid not - if you look at the Codex, it says that only units with the ability to select SI wargear listed in their profile can do so - those being Commanders, Bodyguards, and Crisis Shas'Vres, but not other Shas'Vre leaders.

This is a stupid rule made for fairness. I hate GW sometimes. Great game, stupid small rules ruining games.

Sadly, i figured this out on my own, because i was planning to give my Stealthsuit 'vre iridium armor, but after examining the rules, i faded into depression at the sad, sad truth.... my poor stealths are soo vulnurable to the outside world. :'(

Just give the whole squad hardpoint Shield Generators on top of their Stealth rules... that makes a royal mess of anything trying to shoot at you.

all in the interest of survival my friend. 6 stealthsuits which simply _don't_ die make for a memorable little squad for your regular opponent.

At the cost of 300 points! Id rather have 10 stealth suits at that price. Or 2 Hammerheads. Or 4 broadsides. Or 5 Piranah's. Or 30 Fire warriors.
