i just want to know what people think about pathfinders now that the new codex is out with new rules for marker light making them better

I think the new Pathfinders are great!

Where would my support weapons, Vespids, XV8's...anything be without them!

IMO, they can turn the tide of a battle.

how many do you take with you in a 1500pt list two squads or just one

Im not the biggest fan of Pathfinders. Might be the fact you have to buy them a 'Fish.

In 1500pts i might just squeeze a single unit in, but any game of lower points and i'd rather give the 'Fish to a unit of Fire Warriors.

I don't see the use them, with decent results, over a certian points limit.

They're a great unit in general, but I've said it before and I'll say it again, they're a big points sink in smaller games. I would never take them in an under 1500 list. I take a squad of seven (because I haven't painted eight, and moral) for anything higher.

Definitely a huge improvement over the first codex.

I used 2 squads in the old codex and still use 2 squads now that the new codex is out. the only time I only use one squad is if I am playing a game of 1000 pts or less, and that is a rare occurence for me.

1 squad at 1500 pionts and 2 squads over 2000 pionts.

In my army i don't need them because i have the markerlights with my Sqauds and marker drones are worth the wild now so bamm .....
i don't need them in a Crisis Heavy army
