Default Is this legal?

Shas'vre bodyguard with, Fusion blaster, Missile pod, Multi-tracker, Targeting array and a Shield generator
Someone questioned how many hard points I was using...I didn't think how many was an issue anymore, just as long as the model stayed below it's war gear limit of 100 points?

You must have three, and only three, weapon or support systems in total. So in terms of the old codex, it's still the 3 hardpoint thing. The 100 Point wargear limit applies to wargear - e.g. hard wired systems (third colum of wargear in the new codex) - not weapons or support systems (first and second columns).

You could give your Shas'rve a Hard Wired Multi Tracker...that dosent count as a hard point!

Even with the HW:MT the Shield Gen and the TA are support systems and take up a hard point. It would be nice to pile a bunch of stuff on the suits. A command suit should be able to have 4 hard points I think

If you want to have those option above, you will have to take the fusion blaster, missile pod and TA on the suit. Hard-wire a multi-tracker and have a shield drone. Then you should be set. ;D It depends though how well you view the SD. But if you want those guns and the array then you will need to do that.

You can't have a Sheild Generator and a Targeting Array because they both take up one of the three hard points. So you'll have to drop a gun to have those toys.

The only suit able to handle that much power consumption would probably be the Broadsides.

Now I know a Broadside doesn't technically have 4 hardpoints, but it has no jet packs and what look like extra power cells on the back. That allows them to put down more firepower.

If you put it in fantastic-realistic terms, I think the Tau realized that in order for the Crisis suits too be able to incorporate the Jet Packs, they had to limit the amount of hardpoints. The had to give and take, so to speak.

Putting more Firepower or Wargear on a crisis suit would possibly limit its ability's thus negating its role in the army no matter who is piloting the thing.

I like it the way it is. It has a sort of harmony to it.

Want it legal?

Shas'vre
-Plasma Rifle, Fusion Blaster, TA
-Hardwired Multitracker, Hardwired drone controller.
-One shield drone

I'd say around 70 points.

In your case, shield drones are better in every way...
