Default Question on Stealthsuits

I would like to know what you all think of my interpretation of the new Stealth Team rules. I was reading through it, and from my point of view it seems that the XV 15 and XV 25 are completely identical in all respects. It seems that if you were to modify an old XV 15 with a Fusion Blaster, it would still be legal.
Anyone know anything about this?

Thank you.

Both types of models are mentioned in the codex, and after all, it is only a model representation so by all respects the old stelth teams would be more than suitable for the job at hand. Though I dont know if in a tournament they'd be acceptable, though I'd assume they would be.

They are tournament legal. You just have to add any support systems to the model, and maybe mod one to carry a Fusion Blaster... Like this ;D

The army list entry only specifies "Stealth Team" - in which the fluff mentions both XV15s and XV25s. They are the same unit, have the exact same stats and options, and so are completely identical from a rules perspective. The old XV15 models are still able to be fielded - they just might require some modification/converting to replace burst cannons with fusion blasters and to add support systems.

It's basically just the old models and the new models - so people have a choice as to which models they want to use. It's like the old metal terminators being replaced by the newer, slightly differently modelled plastic ones. Both are still valid in terms of gaming and rules.

Yes, If my Memory serves me correctly, there are no differences in game translation save that of support systems and fusion blasters... :P
When it comes to the models, the new stealth suits are beyond reasonable coolness in my books, but one thing about them nags at me....
The new XV25's are bulkier then a space marine, yet they're toughness 3?

*scratches head*

"Hey Loyd, does this stealth suit make me look fat?"

"I'd say yes if I could see you!"

I did notice one rather nice difference. The 15's didn't get a support system choice. model-wise though... they seem to be the same more or less.
