I pretty much suck at math, so heres my question to you math-peoples... What is better at taking out tanks? A railgun or a fusion blaster at half-range?

They are exactly the same, except that:

The railgun will, on average, penetrate a tank that it hits with an average Str of 14 - 13 (10 + D6).

The FB will do the same. HOWEVER! An average roll on 2D6 is 7... and so, the average strength of an FB at half range is 15 (8 + 7).

But railguns rock

statistically it is the fusion blaster BUT why and when are you going to go for that unless you need some cheap tankbusting? i say railgun all the way.
