OK I am planning on going to games day in Toronto because its about GW stuff, but i have some questions..........
-Can you buy forge world stuff there?
-Where is it taking place?
-At what times?
-Do you need to buy tickets?
-Can you play for fun or is it a tournament?
-What is it like there?
-How can you enter models in painting challenges?
-What can you purchase there?
-Are there any activities?

Hey there,

As a volunteer who's brought tables to multiple Gamesday Toronto events (and this year will be no exception!) I'd be happy to answer all your questions.

1- Yes you can buy Forgeworld stuff there.
2- The Metro Toronto Convention center beside Union station.
3- I believe it is from 10am - 4 pm
4- Yes, I think tickets are $20-$30 dollars but the admission price includes the exclusive Gamesday miniature.
5- FUN FUN FUN! playing games for fun is what Gamesday is about!
6- Amazing. It's a huge room full of tons of games and gamers as well as guests and some of the most interesting and well painted models you'll ever see.
7- Bring your model and give it to one of the staff at the Golden Deamon desk.
8- Anything from Warhammer, WH40k, Lord of the Rings, Forgeworld and they also have loose plastic sprues for sale and loose metal bitz for sale by weight! (About $0.35-0.40 a gramme)
9- TONS OF ACTIVITIES! Speed painting, tank building and games games games!

Gamesday is a huge amount of fun there's nothing else like it. If you've never been to one I really recomend going because you'll have a fantastic time!
