1 shas'o - will kit as nec.

eth. w honor guard

3 squads stealth - 1 fusion w target array 3 burst (with drones as points allow)

6 12 man FW squads (2 with carbines)

like i dunno 60 kroot, 8 hounds 3 ox

11 vespid

4 squads worth gun drones

2 shield drones

4 marker drones (from XV-25 boxes)

8 man pathfinder squad w/shasui & 3 RR

3 pirahnas w/ fusion

3 devilfish

1 rail head

3 broadsides

3 sniper teams

Question- out of the available resources, what would best compliment the broadsides and snipers - fire warriors, honor guard & aun, kroot?? something else?
should i cut something out to fit pathfinders in??
is my force balnced enough to reliably prevail, assuming sound tactics and a liitle luck on my part?
if not , how do i fix it?
please lend me your advice.

Ur...................let's see.this list is for a ________ point game? What did you equip you hamerhead, broadsides and your other units with? The list seems blurry.

Can never go wrong with Kroot, so cheap for a ranged and close combat unit that infiltrates. Even 10 will help wittle down enemies and act as a fire sponge.

Ethereals with an honourguard however....bleh, will die very fast.

But it would be alot easier if we knew the points ranges you're aiming at.

humblest of apologies.
let's say 2000 pts, i can whittle off or build up from there.
as for tank gear decoys and multi trackers of course, anything else will depend on points left over.

But you have to remember the FWs that are his bodyguards. Bs 4 is something.

Kroots are the way to go. More fluffy too.

And those firewarriors also negate his IC status, considering the unit only has a 4+ save and toughness 3...they can easily be ripped apart in less than a turn, forcing many failed morale tests with all your Tau units.

Ethereals are defunkt worthless pap.
