Default Please, Rules clarification about SMS in a vehicle

Hello,
I would like to know if the SMS you can mount in a Hammerhead/Devilfish are twin linked or if they are treated separately as occurs with the burst canon drones.
The Spanish version of the new Tau codex is not quite clear regarding this subject. It says you can mount one SMS in the tank. After that says that the burst canon drones not use the skill of the vehicle for firing.
Please help me to clarify this.
Thanks given in advance.

Drones are independent, and shoot with their own BS.

SMS is not twin linked, is a system that launch several missiles, you can consider that half of the total missiles come from each SMS launcher. They replace -at least in the DF- the drones. But the SMS is not drone mounted. Is just a missile launcher.

Edited to remove a number and a word, sorry for the slip

The smart missile system is not twin-linked, both sides of the missile launcher fire as one. Also, drodo, giving away stats on the site is against the rules.

On vehicles,

Burst Cannons are two seperate weapons.
Smart Missile Systems are a single weapon - it's just split into two "pods", on either side.
Gun Drones are two seperate weapons.

Only Gun Drones are independent, shooting with their own BS. Burst Cannons and SMS's use the vehicle BS (they aren't really drones themselves, just pods controlled by the vehicles - they have no stat profile, and are part of the vehicle).

And about SMS, because it's not drone controlled, but vehicle mounted weapon system. You have effectively 2 weapons on DF, so your opponent would need 3 glancing hits and rolls on weapon destroyed to bring down the devilfish, it can really survive a lot of fire now.
