On a completely baseless argument, and despite the fact that this caused me to get royally womped in close combat tonight, I'm going to say that frag grenades do negate the stealth advantage.

Think of it this way; the suits are holding still, waiting for you to make your charge so they can get that first hit in. If you saturate that area with frag grenades first, you better believe that they're gonna move to a safer position.

Dude, it says in the Codex that grenades work as normal on the steath field.

I read the rulebook. It isn't too clear. However, from out codex:

If they are charged, they are considered to be in cover.

Frag grenades give the unit charging a unit in cover I10.

Considered to be in cover = cover

Cover and charged by frag wielding maniacs = Both strike at I10

From what I heard the frag grenades are thrown in front of the cover. This makes the defending unit duck behind their cover in order to dodge the blast. When they pop back up from behind their baricade the attacker is right there. Hence why they both attack simotaniously.

I cant remember for sure if you only get one attack when using frags. If you only get one attack this is because you spend your time throwing the grenade or ducking behind cover. This only gives you enough time for one attack.

You get your full complement of attacks even when using grenades. When you attack a vehicle with a grenade you only get one attack though.
