Default White Dwarf screw up?

I was just flipping through and noticed that there were a few pictures in the top-left corner of page 8 in the USWD of pages in the new 'dex...

Holy Snipers Batman, it's the rules!!

Needless to say I quickly found my magnifying glass.

Anybody else found this or something similar? Also, I'm a bit shocked that I can't find the Advanced Stabilizers in the broadside entry, perhaps it's a support system? Which would mean no more target lock.

You should also notice the Tau weapons list on pg. 99, and some of the wargear listed on pg. 101.

I noticed the (larger print) stuff first, but I do like the ltra-fine print. Gotta love a teaser. And the page with the rules is cut off by a showcase page at the bottom...

My good eyes COULD read it, even wthout a magnifiying glass. 3 CHeers for young eyes!

Im not sure what we're allowed to post, but a lot of it is already confirmed. Suits have "good vision". Broadside stays the same, points-wise. Drone teams are ## points each. The sniper drones themselves have characteristic Drone accuracy, but its boosted by [Thats giving a fair bit away..].

Its just the entries for the Broadside and Sniper drones.

*zomg spoilerz!* Removed info from Tau Empires Codex. See Sticky Topic. Just a note, if you're not sure what's allowed to be posted PM a moderator first. Even if something has been confirmed, our current rules are pretty clear about not posting info from the new codex.

I have the Imperial Armour III and under the braodside it mentions that the advanced stablization is in fact able to be the ONLY hardpoint. But if one wishes to be clever one could always upgrade to the 'vre and still get target-lock, multitarcking, blacksun filters, and all the other gizmos that make you squeel with joy...

Technichally, you can give it to a Crisis suit. The reason why: Iridium armour!

But giving it to a broadside makes sence.

This is a good setup for the Broadsides.

Team Leader w/ ASS, Hard-Wired Target Lock

Broadside w/ ASS

Broadside w/ ASS

One Broadside will hit target A. Other Broadside will also have to hit target A, so use these 2 shots at something that might not die, like a Land Raider or Monolith or a multi-wound T6+ monster. The Team Leader will be able to fire at something else, like a AV12 or 13, that will die easily to a railgun without being overkill.

They're 'Teasers' of whats in the codex. The past two issues of Oz White Dwarf have a few whole sample pages from the new codex. ASS is in there, just not on that page. That's about all we can say.
