Default But....nimbosa?

Before the 4th ediction codex i thought that Nimbosa fell in the hand of Black Templars...but reading the new tau codex it seems it's now in Tau hands...
Can you tell me the real truth about nimbosa?

It's a fairly straightforward situation: The Tau still were soundly and roundly trounced during the Nimbosa Annexation, but the Codex glosses over their defeat by focusing its attention on an individual victory which, while it may have ben crushing, wasn't sufficient to win the entire war.

Nimbosa is safely and securely a dominion of the Imperium, and looks likely to remain that way - while White Dwarf did indicate that a second Nimbosa Annexation might be the focus of the Third Sphere crusade, this doesn't seem to be the case as no mention of Nimbosa is made in the references to Shadowsun et al. Furthermore, the Black Templars have also raised a great fortress-monastery on Nimbosa and the formidable defences that entails would give anyone pause.

See the article in WD ... I don't know what number.
"Asteroids are NOT free!"

It basically went through the logistics (cost) of moving an asteroid into place and ensuring it gets through the atmosphere etc. Basicalyl it was cheaper to virus bomb or exterminatus the planet.

sound like a fun article i think it would be wrong when considering the average space ship is bigger than 20 Km, but you exterminatus the planet if you want to go live there!

Nimbosa is indeed firmly in Imperial hands... however, we all know what the Por'Hui are like. :

Remember that the Tau initially conquered Nimbosa and were only driven off by a sizable Imperial/Astartes fleet. Also, while the Tau may have been "soundly and roundly" trounced in space the ground campaign was both protracted and costly for the Imperials (and the Tau of course), with even the Black Templars grudgingly admitting respect for the Tau.

My information comes from the Black Templar codex IIRC.

I don't think the Black Templars "respect" the Tau at all... others might, but the Templars certainly would not!
