just out of interest, how much chance is there of killing

space marines with the submunitions from the railgun of a hammerhead? btw ihavent

actually got a hammer head yet...

Submutions will wound them on a 2+, but they&#

039;ll get a save. Its an ordiance balst, thought, so, id say if you get 6-8 under the

template, 2 will die usually.
In a way, its better than the Ion Cannon, if elss

reliable, but its got longer rnage and better number sof kills possible: It tears

anythign with a save of 4+ or worse apart instantly, and since most 4+ users atr t3, its

a lot of insta-kills... ;D

hmm so from that i assume that with a first hammerhead

taking a railgun is much better than ion cannon right?

Definetly. Ion Cannons just

for relaibility and multiple wounding of things the railgun cant Insta-Kill (C'Tan

and Greater Daemons, anyone?)

hmm yeh ion cannon has less range but 3 shots... theres

more chance of hitting than a railgun and less risk of not hitting at all...

rail gun one chanve to hit if yya do theres

more models hit but if ya miss yur hit roll waste but with ion 3 chances to hit but you

could miss them as well its really what ya prefer and i prefer bigger guns!!

Well if you wanna kill tones of enemies with low

Sv then go submunition with railgun

If you want marines dead in my experience

its better to use a ion cannon the only really good thing its for.

Then huge

buggers you use the old solid shot!!!

hmm well when i get a hammerhead, im planning on giving it

railgun and burst cannons, and then multi tracker, and any other upgrades taht it might

need, and then when i actually use it, move it 6" to an fro the same spot, so it

avoids penetrating hits or watever that rule says and can still fire all its weapons..

and considering the burst cannons are TWO separate weapons.. ehehe... not as bad if i

lose one...

You should also get i think there displacement

thingo (my mates borrowing my codex) but it lets you reroll any immobolised hits which is

good since it acts like a vehicle destroyed roll with skimmers.

Another thing

if a weapon destroyed is rolled then its most likely that the opponent will destroy your

railgun not your busrt cannons.

And lastely i molded some green stuff in the

bottoms of the guns so you can place them on without glue allowing me to change them

according to preference before every match which is alot better than actually attaching

it on, its like the Crisis Suit guns, dont glue and you can change them!!!!!
