Default The other mobile Markerlight.

OK, we all know a Team Leader Stralth can take a markerlight, and while he loses his move phase, still gets to markerlight and assault phase jump.

but heres a new trick.. maybe a bit expensive, but neat nonetheless:
An XV25 Stealth Suit Team leader, with Markerlight, and ASS! (+ presumably a HW multitracker to still use his gun always)

ok, so its a slow and purposefully mobile markerlight, but keep in mind that ASS is optional on a turn by turn basis, meaning that a Leader not wanting to Markerlight that turn still has full mobility.

whaddaya think?

I still think you're trying too hard to get a markerlight onto the board...it's not networked, so the Stealth team (who would be the most likely to benefit from it) can't use it. I don't think it's worth the cost of fielding it and I doubt it will get used that often :-\

It's an idea, but it seems like there are better ways to go about it. You should probably try it out for a few games and see how it does.

I thought the A.S.S. was Broadside-only gear. Regardless, even if it wasn't, I don't think the effect would propagate to drones.

You can do it... but there's a problem.

While the stealths are allowed to take different support systems, if any member of ANY battlesuit team wears an ASS, they all must. This means you will be wasting 20-50 points on this setup, plus all your other stealth hardpoints!

According to my knowledge DireStrike, stealth teams have to take a hardpoint if one does, but this doesn't mean they'll have to take the same hardpoint. Ie, leader takes ASS, the rest can take targeting array. If one has a hardpoint system, anyone must take one, but not necessarily the same.
