Here is what I am thinking for my Shas'o

Cyclic Ion blaster
plasma rifle
multitracker
Stims and that hit and run item.

Don't think I will need shield gen.

Main task is killing meqs and MCs.

Cyclic kills about 0.92 marines a turn and the plasma rakes up another 1.39
So shooting will be raking in around 2.3 kills a turn, after this I assualt the enemy, another 1 dead marine over the 2 assualt phases. (wow what a cc monster) after this you use the hit and run at the end of the opponents assualt phase.

Next turn the whole thing starts again! You are averaging 3.3 dead marines a turn!
Killer!

With feel no pain meqs need an average of 24 attacks to put 1 wound on the shas'o!

Best of all the enemy squad will not be firing! not only do you have little chance of even losing a wound you are stopping them from killing anyone in your army! double score!

Just stay away from power weapons and S8 shooters and your golden.

Course you could also spend the extra points on the shield genorator for a 4++ with feel no pain!

I was originally considering the other new weapon.....frag projector or something but I think plasma is a safer bet, its the 2nd best MC killer aswell! only slightly behind plasma against T6.

Now I just need a name for him.

or leave him as an IC and keep him behind your other troopers. Really hard to kill then.

Hi,

Nice idea, but it all depends on whether either the stims or the hit & Run ability requires a hard-point slot. If one of them does your still ok because you can hard-wire the multi-tracker for no extra pts, but your stuck if they both need a hard point.

If the new rules allow this suit it could be very effective, however I normally find that any troops that advance forward normally have atleasta champion with a powerweapon or powerfist included. The only squads without champions are normally 6 man lascannon & plasma gun squads sitting at the back of the board. How often will you get in combat with a las/plas squad ?

However this set-up might be worth a try as it's real nasty if the squad your going against doesn't have a poweweapon or powerfist.

Dev squads and those las/plas squads are exactly what you are hunting, even a squad with a Psword would be ok if you also had the shield genorator though I don't want that.

It will be a turn 3 assualt if all goes as plan.

even my Space Pups of doom couldn't handle that unless the Lord jumps, (it's because of things like that that he always stays within 12" of everyone. how much does he cost?

It would cost somewhere between 125 and 150, I think. Not bad at all.
