hey, i have a dumb question, but it has been making me very iratated (did i spell that right)

with the crisis suits and broad sides, were do they get in?????

looking at the models they have no doors to a cockpit, so were do they get into the suits? and out for that matter?

there are several possibilities... but the one I go with is the whole front opens up. When open, the front is hinged at the bottom of the suit's torso and can therefore be used as a ladder to get into the suit's command seat.

i kinda thought that the jet pack would be on a hinge that could be raised or lowered. they would climb in the back and position comfortably but the chest opening like a cupboard sounds gd too, easier for entrance an exits i would reckon. ;D

There was a nice model showing this in the UK Golden Demon 2003. It has the chest opening up and a snug little compartment inside. I suppose they'd have to use a ladder or something. You can see for yourself here http://uk.games-workshop.com/goldendemon/2003season/14/ You have to scroll down a little bit.
