Default Help with some rules regarding XV8 configuration

Hi Everyone.
I am new in the forum, and new in playing WH40k and new with the TAU army.
First of all, excuse the grammatical erros I could made because I am from Spain and English is not my mother tongue, so I ask for your cooperation.
I have a question about the configuration of a crisis suit; in the codex is quite clear that you have to fill the three hardpoint with weapons or support systems.
In a XV8crisis squad battlearmour, one can be upgraded to leader for a cost of+5 points. Doing this, this character can access to Taur armory and add up to 50 points in upgrades
My question is if this squad leader can have for example two weapons and two support systems? an example configuration could be:
1x Plasma Rifle
1x Induction Cannon
1x Multitracker (adquired as squad leader option)
1x Defense Shield

Is this Illegal? If it's where is tu utility of using and squad leader in a Battlearmor squad?
Please, help me.
Thanks given in davance to all.

You need to hardwire the Multitracker for it to be legal.

Thanks for your answer, but what I have to do to Hardwire it?
Could you explain me how to do this?
Is this valid with any support system available for squad leaders?
Thanks!!!!!

Well dude, read the codex. You need no extraordinary step to hardwire it. Just say uyou hardwire it.

It's valid with any support system, SHield gen is a support system you know.

But if you ask me, better to hardwire systems on a Commander. They are worth the points to hardwire rather than your avarage Shas'vre.

You can't just say "This is now hardwired".
But you can buy equipment from the wargear section for any team leader, bodyguard and HQ. There you'll find the hardwired stuff.

So, Padawan, your team leader could take the plasma rifle, induction cannon (burst cannon?) and shield generator as hardpoint options and choose a hardwired multitracker from the wargear list. That'd be completely legal.

Welcome to the forum, by the way!

Cheers!

You english is excellent.

a leader upgrade is only good for accessing the armory and wargear. Hardwiring means buying wargear that doesn't need a hardpoint, so buying a multi tracker for example as hardwired means it doesn't require a hardpoint.

Your suit is legal if......I knew what an induction cannon was

Thanks a lot to ancient god and crisis_vyper!
You have answered a long time question and a lot of arguments with my friends regarding this point of the rules. I even went to the WD shop of Seville (spain), Where I live, and they didn't answer this to me. I think They even don't know how to play with TAU!!!! ???
This is great, because you can add a lot fo flexibility to your XV8 Crisis Teams!

I am sorry for the grammatical errors and a induction cannon is a Burst Cannon in English. In Spanish they have tanslated it as "cañón de Inducción" or induction cannon.
Sorry, no new wonder weapon for aur Tau army! :'(

Thanks, friends, for all your help. I will comment here my battles (and victories, I hope) against those ignorants enough to try the wrath of the Tau...
