I've used Human Aux since they first came out and have been very happy with them . They make a great ( and cheap ) screen for broadsides . For that mission use a full squad with 2 pulse rifles and a marker light will make a great support team.
Another use for Human Aux are as a cheap marker light unit . For less than 60pts you can get a squad of six troops with a marker light . They will need to keep them in cover because once your opponent sees what there mission is they may try to kill them to stop them from marking. This is not all bad as they may waste allot of fire power to kill a six man unit and thus save your more important units from fire. And as Commissar said you could make them in to a tank hunter unit with the addition of EMP grenades. So over all they can be pretty handy and are in someways more flexable than kroot or fire warriors.

I have destroyed a Vindicator with them before, and they have helped take quarters. Basically, they are a great addition as long as your opponents continue to underestimate them. If they ever start to take them seriously, it might be time to give them a rest.

Hm.......I started to like this guys already. But now, I have two things that bother me
1)I may be the 1st dude who ever use them. 2)I'm nervous that they may turn out to be a flop.(since I am what you call a newbie.... )

They are what, 6 points each? Any turn your opponent shoots at them is a turn where they are doing well.

Hmm I think they're alright,
but I have a question, can you transport Gue'Vesa in a Fish? so you can use them voor Mechanised Tau ?

I don't think so. El'savon. Devils can only be used by tau FWs.
But any alternative to make them move and fast?

No you cannot, what you see in the chapter approved article and on GWs site is all you get. Sadly they have no transport and only a 5+ save. If gue'vesa had carapace armor and the ability to take a devilfish then I would make use of them.
However as pointed out they make nice screens and very cheap markerlights. They are a unit that is in between kroot and firewarriors in quite a lot of ways. |
