Default Plastic Pathfinders

I don't know about anyone else but I'm not keen on the metal pathfinders...

So I'm thinking about simply using plastic FWs instead... I mean simply don't add the shoulder pad and cut away the leg armour and resculpt with greenstuff! I have a few metal railrifles sitting around and Pulse Carbines can be modified to carry a markerlight with almost no effort.

The bits I don't use could be use on my Human Auxillia

Has anyone done this already? Any pics of the finished result?

None can step before them, they are the first, proud in their strength and jealous of their renown. Through the storms of the warp they come, upon the very tides of terror, but of such dangers they are uncaring. They are the Space Wolves, the Undefeated, the bane of the Emperor's foes."

I hate metal models to, but cutting away the leg armour sounds tough.... If you want to do that kind of thing, It would probably be a good idea to invest in a fancy knife.

I've been thinking of doing this myself. Let us know how it goes.

And don't foget the pathfinders have no backpacks so thats one less thing to glue on. Just remember to cover the hole with a bit of putty.

Just get some Firewarriors, cut off the shoulder pads, then put on a Pulse Carbine! Simple, and easy.

If only. The path finders have no armour on their legs and no backpack, so if you wanted to make them look authentic you would need ~A FANCY KNIFE~. :P

I think he would have meant the shoulder pad attached on the arm with the gun. I was thinking of doing this myself, but I have no greenstuff... Let us know how it turns out.
