Agreed. All of the official septs are there, although you can also find quite a few created by fans in the fluff/stories forum.

About taros.......did you guys notice that the battle thee sounds a little like the Gulf war campaign?

About the septs, each one have an attribute to it. for example, Vior'la (means hot-blooded i think) is a fire caste world. All the people from that sept is known to be very aggresive and skilled in the art of war.

Calmsword what are you doing? ??? You have not listed every single major sept! ???

Anyway. Sa'cea - Known for the discipline and honour of it's warriors, highly militarised with the highest population of Fire Warriors (my sept )

Au'taal - Paradise Sept, the inhabitants are often viewed as lazy.
Vior'la - Highly militarised, sept that Commander Farsight came from, translates literally as hot blooded, inhabitants are "skilled in the arts of death", oldest and most respected Fire Caste academy was founder here.
Tau'n - First off - world colony of the Empire, inhabitants considered to be pioneering and often lead exploration missions through space.
D'yanoi - For a time the planet degenerated technologically, inhabitants still regarded as rustic and backwards
Dal'yth - Cosmipolitan world were trade is valued as much as conquest, alien species are (even more) welcome on this world.
Bork'an - A centre of learning and academia.
Fal'shia - Planet is famed for the quality of it's artisans, many important technological innovations have come from this world, and inhabitants are regarded as great problem solvers.

They are the major septs with symbols. I would post symbols if I knew how. I can tell you about the others if you want but you'll have to make up a symbol for them.

I think Calmsword was just listing all of the other offical Septs that are not listed on the map in the codex. This is very useful, as I had not realized there were so many more official septs.

sorry- thats exactly what i was doing, just naming current worlds- there are a few more mentioned near Gravalax which i can find later- good for writing fluff as they are all stageing areas for Imperial forces.

ps: i can't stress enough the use of the word "Sept" sept is not world- its translation is roughly a collection of star systems or a single important system like T'au but not like Dal'yth. the word for "world" is "Ya" with "Yanoi" being moon
