Default The new XV-25

Will the new XV-25 stealth suit have any new weapons or will it just have a upgraded stealth suit? ???

They can have Fusion Blasters, and rumours about a Hardpoint are widely accepted as fact.

They are the brick-shaped guns. Look them up in the Codex; they are great against vehicles and tough infantry like Terminators.

I don't think fusion blaster will be a devastating choice...but it's another option...

True, but most players will pretty much be willing to go and plunk down the points to get a Fusion Blaster, and then go "Stealth Tank Hunting" with it. A feesable option, but most likely pricey...

Pricey perhaps but it would make Stealth suits a good option for taking out heavy infantry like terminators after infiltrating and they can get very close to tanks. 12" out of sight infiltration deployment means that placed well a fusion blaster toting suite has a fair chance of getting that gun within 6" of its target vehicle and blasting it away.

So does that mean that both the existing suit and the new suit are considered different and both will be in the codex? I've become confused on this issue, and haven't found a definitive answer. If so, I have reason to go out and buy some stealth suits now :9

The impression I've gotten so far (which could of course be drastically wrong ) is that stealth suits remain in the new codex. However the unit can be upgraded to wear XV-25 armour, which is the same but it has a hardpoint, meaning that every model in the squad now has to take a support system.

Like I said though this is just the impression I've gotten from the various rumours I've heard.
