Any instances of you firewarriors doing something worth noting in close combat?

My example is were 4 Fw were charged by 5 vet assault marines. the marines killed none and my Fws killed 3 space marines

My "amazing kung fu" commander once took down a whole squad of mounted daemonettes

In the not-so climactic battle, a ten man unit of FW led by the indomidable Aun'Shi repulsed a squad of Gue'la led by Commissar Ibram Gaunt...

ok- once, during this 2000 point game back in 3rd edition, my pathfinders were beating the heck outta this ultramarine army, markerlights lighting up tanks and devastator units- i was pooning him. so he decides to end the threat, drops his terminators right there, they shoot- i make all saves, i decide to leave them there to hold up the terminators while i bring Ap2 weapons to bare. he charges me the next turn, misses everything- i attack back with two guys and they kill two termies and i throw a rock that killes their "unit leader" there are only two left, they break, i run them down and kill both in the following phase.

Don't Marines just rejoin the combat if they get run down? ATSKNF and all?

Friend did a similar thing with a Shas'O being charged by a squad of Assault Terminators.

My Shas'O has killed both Baharoth and a Death cult assasine in close combat but as for regular Firewarriors.

They were charged by a slightly over half strength unit of Grey Knights and suffered no cassualties at all. It took another 2 turns for them to be broken. I couldnt extricate them but they did hold out a long time.

Ive also had a unit of gun drones kill storm troopers in close combat.

My squad of 6 fire warriors (led by a normal ethereal) defeated a 5 marine assault squad. ^-^

While not great, a 12-man squad killed lots of Scarab Swarms in close combat.

Once in a meat grinder mission I let some firewarriors get charges hoping they would get wiped out in HTH so they came back and rapid fired the striking scorpions arses. Sure enough, the FW died, came back, and the scorpions died. Does that count?

lol-no, thats not the "same" unit
as for drones- i have 1 drone from a devilfish transport that has 2 dreadnaught kills and one Earth Shaker kill, everyone forgets those little guys once they blow up the devilfish.
if we're moving on, my Barracuda once killed three Earthshakers and two Leman Russ' in a single turn.

ps: as for my first post and the response to that, yes- i chased them down and killed them in the following turn.
