Default Kroot mercenary army

Been thinking of starting a Kroot Mercenaries army for a while now but since the new tau codex is due to come out soon I don't know if I will still be able to use the rules provided by the Uk GW site.

Will the rules still be legal or will I have to wait until they update it?

the rules will probably still be legal as I can't see why they wouldn't be.

Another problem has arised: The PDF file containing the armylist seems to be corrupt.

Does it work for anyone else?

The PDF doesnt work for me either but I have the old army builder which still has the rules for the army. I remember reading the file awhile ago though, and it specifically said that the rules for a Kroot Mercenary Army will allow almost any army to gain access to kroot, but Tau didnt gain kroot under the Kroot Mercenary rules, but the rules put out by the Tau codex, so you wont have to change anything in your kroot army because of the Tau Empire codex.

*fools around on army builder*

If you want a fast acting and hard hitting kroot army you take at least 3 Kroot Carnivore Kindred squads fully manned, shaper and everything and give the squad the fast reflexes upgrade, the surefoot charm, and Blood of the Stalker. This allows you to infiltrate d6" closer to the enemy, role 2d6 and take the highest for fleet of foot, and initiative 4 which means you are either striking simultaneous or before almost all non-special characters or HQ.

Currently they're chapter approved, and I would assume that's where they would stay. The wouldn't be included into the new codex, and so would probably still remain free for download off the CA Section of the respective GW website.

Works for me. Make sure you guys have the latest version of Adobe Reader (7.0.5 I believe).
