Default Looking back

A while ago I had decided I wanted the original tau color. The codex color as I referred to it. Its a really good color scheme, but Im not a good enough painter yet to make it look good, so Im going to repaint my firewarriors, and the one suit I have painted, to another color. I really liked the camo green color in the rulebook, but I dont know. I know this is a matter of opinion, but whats your color scheme, and do you have any suggestions for a lay-out?
And just for curiosity means, do you just spray the models black again, and then paint?

This has been done before.

I useally get glass cleaner and dump my models in it. It disolves the paint nicely.

Is that safe for the models?
And anyway, Im going to do the camo green, and dark angels green color scheme from the codex.* Tsight.

Edit: And if I use glass cleaner, how long should I put the models in for?

Good quality cleaner burns them up like $%^%^@^% , but bad quality is harmless(not for the paint.)

I used Mr muscle oven cleaner (spray), and i kept the models there about 3 hours, and then brushed them with a potato brush. (Works better for metals, but you have to brush with it for sometime, atleast the paint goes thinner, and it look good after repainting :P)

Don't keep the brush in use after this process, you or somebody else may get a cancer from potatoes
* * * * * *I think it's better to use an old brush instead of new one...

Camo green sucks. It's not even green! It's more like a pale tan or yellow color. Use goblin green instead. That's my color scheme. Catachan green is a much more camo looking green that I use, but it was discontinued a few months ago so you might or might not still be able to find some.

Well, I've looked over my models once again, and I have decided that I'm going to kepp the scheme. But Im soon gonna buy another fire warrior box set with some more christmas cash, and try out camo and dark angels green on those, because what you guys have said, sounds like alot of work to repaint models. Thanks though.
