Default How does one enter a Crisis battlesuit?

I have always think about this for some time now. How do a tau enters a crisis suit? From the small circle at the jetpack or the small square thing at the front of the crisis suit? ???

the chest opens up. ever see the crisis suit with pilot isside golden demon entry?
in any case if you want crisis suit specifics, read fire warrior. they give lots of detail.

It is generally accepted that the chest is removed to allow entry.

I agree that it's very unclear where they enter as never I never read FireWarrior but it makes sense to, but there is the picture on the Codex: Tau cover that has just some computer like stuff inside the plate. Good question.

I believe it folds open for the pilot to slide into from the front or side. I remember reading about it in "kill team". I dont't remember what they said about it in Fire Warrior though ???.

I think the front half of the suit is on a hinge etc, and opens up so that the pilot can sit inside. Refer to Fire Warrior (book) - where the commander enters the battlesuit before getting dropped (near the end of the book).

It would be very stupid to have a slidable hatched chest. A strong enemy could just walk up, slide down the door, and crush the pilot, without having to worry about going through all that armour to kill them. I think it would be much more smart, although odd sounding, to crawl up through its rear.
