Default Kroot eating habits

I recently saw 30 kroot take down a bloody handed god. I began wondering what will happen to these eaters of the Gods flesh? Perhaps GW could make new models demonstrating kroot veterans that have feasted upon stuff from space marines, carnifexes and Wraithlords but lived to tell the tale.

I doubt eating Wraithbone would do them any good... it would be easier chowing down on plate steel!

We know Kroot can become warped by eating Slanessh-tainted bodies, but Daemons have no true physical form, so it is unlikely they can "feast" on such things.

Given that its blood is molten iron, I imagine a very bad stomach ache for the poor critters!

Kroot won't touch Tyranids, or 'Nid related creatures: Bad ju-ju.

That said, their was this interesting entry in a Gamesday:

The Kroot-Necron Hybrid. ;D

he wont be anemic any time soon, thats for sure! ;D

kroot mercs warbands can be given the "ork hybrid trait", and for models you are encouraged to mix ork and kroot bits. Like an ork torso, with everything else being kroot, or something.

you could always try modelling things like that. use green stuff to give a big massive chest to the kroot who was lucky enough to kill a space marine and avoid its death spasm return swipe! ;D

None can step before them, they are the first, proud in their strength and jealous of their renown. Through the storms of the warp they come, upon the very tides of terror, but of such dangers they are uncaring. They are the Space Wolves, the Undefeated, the bane of the Emperor's foes."

I've always felt a Kroot-Ork hybrid would look like a smaller, upright Krootox! It's got all the Orky characteristics - Jutting lower jaw, bandy legs, long arms, broad shoulders and hunched neck. Even the small, nub-quills dotting its head feel Orky: A 'green' Kroot might be less aware of its surroundings, fitting the Ork's personal initiative.

Ohh good idea on the ork hybrid. Kroot just eat anything that is dangerous and dead to improve there race except the Trynids, because they could cause the Kroot to be linked with the hive mind and become a 'Nid. The Tyrinid DNA is very good at quick changes and could be reversed and change the Kroot into Tryinid-Kroot. That is why the Kroot don't eat 'Nids if you where wondering.

This is why Kroot should not have Eaters of the Dead when fighting 'Nids, it's unfluffy.

There is fluff on Kroot eating Tyranids. The Shaper didn't want his squad to eat them, but he was too late to stop them. It doesn't say what became of them...

If you're thinking of the same fluff as me it never said he was too late. It just said hat he hoped to control his bretheren, because he knew he mustn't eat them.

There has to be some common sense limit, Like wargamer said Wraithbone is like platsteel, Really can't digest that stuff. Avatar is molten blooded. Really only organic stuff can be digested. Now this is what got me and puzzles me, What if a kroot ate a Space marine. Would they gain super toughness and strength and what not, All that desribed abilities, or would they only gain the effects of the specific organs they ate?
