Please in future use the 'Search' function; there are a multitude of threads that already address these questions. The Vespid is an ally race of the Tau, as for rules, they have been speculated but have not been released yet. The Pihrana is a Forge World model, it can be found by looking in the Tau section of the Forge World website (www.forgeworld.co.uk)

The Vespid are a new race of Tau allies due out with the "Tau Empire" codex. They're winged, bipedal insects that have been advertised as "marine killers". The current assumption about them is that they are jump troops, lead by a "strain leader" in each unit, and have high AP, medium-low strength weapons for anti-marine operations.

The Pirana is a light skimmer that was first introduced as a Forgeworld model and has it's rules in Imperial Armor 3, although I'm sure someone can send you the old experimental rules for it. It's basically a hoversled with a burst cannon and two gun drones equipped turret-style. We believe it will be a Fast-Attack choice.

Of additional note is the Tetra, another former forgeworld model that may or may not make it into Tau Empire. It's a two-man skimmer, it's main purpose being a markerlight for mechanized armies. If I recall, it is equipped with a twin-linked pulse carbine and disruption pod, aside from it's markerlight. Imagine a pathfinder unit that traded numbers for individual survivablity and speed and you have an accurate idea of what you're dealing with.

You can find more information about all of these on the Game Day 2006 thread on page two, or on the rumor board.

I think it's actually a twin-linked Pulse Rifle.

Yes, it is.

Also the Vespid weapon will probably be low strength and low ap, to deny marine armor saves but to make wounding harder. For balance of course, or at least thats the gist of what Ive heard. Nothing is certain until the new codex comes out.

You could send them in an email, unless anybody can host.
